Lawn Mower
This weekend I said goodbye to my old fashion grass clippers and hello to a brand new lawn mower! After last weekend where the clippers didn’t work since the grass was too long (whoops) and I had to weed whack the entire back yard while my neighbor watched from his deck, I decided it was time for the real deal. So here she is….all red and shiny. And somehow I manage to convince Chris to do some of the mowing too :).
Happy Easter
It was great spending time with the family over Easter. We dyed eggs on Saturday afternoon, Dad won the prize for most “artistic”. After church on Sunday morning, we had a great brunch with a gorgeous table setting. Apparently, that morning mom had been trying to decide which china she should set out – Noritake or Limoge? Andrea quickly helped solve the dilemma as she burst out in song, “Up from the grave He arose, and He ate his eggs upon Limoge!” We all had a laugh and toasted the day with delicious mimosas.
The Usuals
Hard to believe we’ve all been friends since Nursery school – 26 years of friendship!
Chris and Jeremy, the new guys, are still smiling after interrogation from the other husbands and fiances.
Why couldn’t we think of any juicy stories from high school that night? There are so many fun ones!
Get your geek on!
My name is Bonnie and I am a geek! I will wave my freak flag high and proud. The Washington Post outed me this morning with a photo of me at an event in DC called Social Matchbox. I was promoting an on-line community for web developers and designers called LinkTogether that I’ve been working on for the past year at Network Solutions. Check out my picture in the Business section of the Washington Post. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/04/05/AR2009040501480.html
Annapolis Nuptials
The April showers stopped just in time to let Stacie and Tyler tie the knot. The wedding was held at the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront and although it was windy, it was perfect wedding weather – especially since the ceremony took place outside. The piece de resistance of the evening though, was the cake. It was designed and baked by Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, MD – you may be familiar with their TV show Ace of Cakes. Although it was a shame to watch it be cut up, it definitely tasted as good as it looked.
